Our History
"In 2016, I opened a small therapy practice for kids with autism. Since then, our company has continued to grow, hiring more staff and adding more kids. I’ve had several kids who weren’t able to attend special day schools or therapy programs because they didn’t have transportation in the middle of the day. These kids usually had parents who worked full hours in the day, making it impossible to take their kids to these beneficial programs and still be able to make it to their job. It was in the midst of this problem I saw a need—I began this transportation company to help make sure no kid has to miss out on an opportunity to receive the therapy and education he or she needs just due to an issue in transportation."

Who is Al?
Al & Pals is named after our founder's father, Alan H. Silva. He was in the South Tower of the World Trade Center on September 11th, and the smoke and dust he inhaled during the evacuation caused lung cancer. He passed away this past October from this illness.
To honor her father's entrepreneurial spirit and memory, this company was started to help the kids in our community access the services available to them.
